Solar Storage, LLC. Auction Rules and Conditions. Solar Storage, LLC. has the right to cancel the auction at any time. Bids are only able to be placed and accepted within the specified time frame. The storage facility reserves the right to extend this specified time at their sole discretion, for any reason. Legally, the defaulted tenant has the right to cure the account and thus regain ownership of the unit and cancel the auction up until the winning bidder provides payment for the unit. The bidder/buyer accepts the fact that he or she is agreeing to a legal binding contract by placing a bid. Regardless of whether the bidder accepts ownership of the unit, you are responsible for bid amounts, premiums associated with the sale, taxes, and other fees applied. Solar Storage, LLC. is not liable for the goods purchased at the time of the sale. Units are purchased in “AS-IS” condition. With the purchase of any unit, there are no guarantees or warranties implied or included with the sale. The sale is not considered final until the winning bidder pays for the unit in full to the facility and removes all items from within the unit, or a lease is signed between the storage facility and the bidder. Bidder understands and is in compliance with the law that states the tenant of the unit has the legal right to regain ownership of his or her property up until the sale is final. Therefore the winning bidder may not be able to pay for nor gain ownership of the unit contents. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. • Auction bidders must be 18 years of age or older. • You must have a valid photo ID, which includes a state-issued ID card, driver’s license, or passport. • You bid on the whole storage unit, not item by item. • There are no sealed bids—all bids are competitive and out in the open. • The unit goes to the highest bidder. • Payment methods vary—be prepared with both cash and card. • The tenant has the right to pay the owed balance up until the auction payment has been received. • While most facilities won’t auction off an unkept unit, watch out for any signs of mold, critters, and hazardous waste. • Any legal documents (i.e., birth certificates and passports) are not up for grabs. Solar Storage, LLC. will try to return these to the owner. • Vehicles with no titles will be given a "DECLARATION OF SALE." Facility DOES NOT have keys for vehicles found in units. • Firearms must be turned over to the police. PICK-UP DIRECTIONS: When arriving to clear out the unit’s contents provide staff with a valid state-issued photo ID, driver’s license, or passport. A $100 cleaning fee deposit will be required via credit card ONLY. You will have 3 days to clear out the contents. Everything in the unit must go, even the trash left behind and the unit must be left in “broom-swept” condition. Cleaning fee deposits will be forfeited to the facility if the unit is not cleaned out properly. Otherwise, the cleaning fee deposit will be REFUNDED back to the credit card after the unit has been inspected by facility staff.
