PLEASE NOTE: Our auction rules and procedures have changed. Winning bidder must be able to follow all of the procedures and rules below. If you cannot abide by any of the rules or procedures, we ask that you do not place any bids as no exceptions will be made. The winning bidder must also accept the conditions and terms found below. 1.) The unit must be emptied within 72 hours from the time the auction ended. If the unit is not emptied in this timeframe, the auction winner forfeits all money paid and understands that Leader Storage may resell or dispose of the contents without notifying the auction winner. If the winning bidder fails to contact the facility or make payment for the unit, the bidder will be banned from all future auctions at all Leader Storage facilities and the next highest bidder will be contacted. 2.) Once the auction has ended, you may wait to receive an email from our team with a form that must be completed or visit our website at Leaderstorage.com and click on the forms drop down menu and click on the “Auction Winner Form’ to complete form. You must be able to upload a copy of your driver’s license or email a copy to the facility to verify your identity. 3.) The winning bidder is responsible for paying the facility the winning bid amount plus tax and a $200 cleaning deposit. A facility team member will contact the winning bidder once they have completed the Auction Winner Form to process their payment. At this time the auction winner will be provided with all necessary information to access the facility and the unit. The auction winner may utilize the manager lock until the unit is emptied, but must return it to the drop box within 72 hours. If the manager lock is not returned, the auction winner will forfeit $25 from their cleaning deposit. 4.) 72 hours after the auctions ends, a facility team member will check the unit to verify that the unit is empty. As long as the unit is emptied, the $200 cleaning deposit will be returned to original form of payment. This may take up to 3-5 business days to appear on the account. The winning bidder will also receive an email confirmation indicating that the unit has been checked and the cleaning deposit returned. 5.) All garbage must be hauled out by the winning bidder. There is no dumpster on site. 6.) All sales are final. 7.) Contents listed were not inspected and may or may not be in working condition. No guarantee as to condition of items listed or viewed. 8.) Winning bidder must make arrangements to return any personal property such as photos and documents found in the unit to facility management 9.) Leader Storage reserves the right to end the auction and sale of any unit if, among other reasons, the manager verifies that the tenant has paid the outstanding balance in full prior to auction ending or auction winner making payment.
